Thank you to all vendors, customers, and sponsors of our Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market!

Last week, Town Square Park was a beautiful sight, once again bustling with activity! Customers were treated to offerings from over 25 vendors, free facepainting from award winning artist Garnet Santangelo, and music from our well-loved regional musician, Cary Hudson.

The Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market also proudly presented Yoga in the Park, a donation-based yoga class for all skill levels.

The Market strives to be an all-inclusive family-friendly weekly event focused on healthy, fresh foods, and sustainable community growth.

Throughout the season, market-goers can expect to find the freshest farm produce and locally crafted items. Shoppers can pick up a frequent shoppers punch card at the DHFM booth, located by the gazebo. Also available is a reusable 100% cotton shopping bag, printed by local artisan Heath Kleinke of The Shop Downtown. Bags are $10, the proceeds of which help fund the weekly event.

Week 2 will feature more vendors, and marks the return of our knife sharpener! Music will be provided by Meagan May, and Yoga in the Park will continue weekly at 5:15, unless otherwise noted.

Thanks to all involved for such a warmly received and well-attended kick-off! We'll see you in the park each Thursday from 3-6. Here's to community fun, healthy, fresh foods and fare, and a Downtown Hattiesburg that we can all enjoy!
